"Roots of Reading" is a 30-minute program in the Launching Young Readers series that examines how parents and other teachers and caregivers can get children started on the road to literacy. You'll learn that simple things make a big difference, and that what parents and caregivers choose to do definitely has an impact.

The program also features a visit with children's book author and illustrator Rosemary Wells, the beloved creator of Max and Ruby and Timothy Goes to School.
